Additional fees may be added without notice. Access Fee. ($25 - $300) This fee is charged for Distance Learning Courses. Application/Graduation Fee. ($35) This fee is charged to all new students and is non-refundable. It can be prepaid or paid at the time of initial enrollment. The fee covers the costs of enrollment and commencement, including diploma. (This is separate from the $25 housing application fee.) Audit Fee. This fee is the normal tuition rate per credit, plus Connect ND, NDSA and class fees (not student service fees) for a class which is audited, rather than taken for credit. Challenge Exam Fee. This fee equals one-half of the normal tuition charge for the course to be challenged plus all of the testing costs. Course Fee. This fee is charged to students for supplies in specified classes. Fees range from $10-$300 (depending on class.) Interest Fee. One percent interest per month on balances 60 days past due. Late Payment. A $50 fee may be assessed to students who do not pay their tuition/fees by the payment deadline. On-Campus Program Fees. (Charged for traditional classroom classes) $250 per semester for Mechanical Maintenance, Lineworker, Nursing, Power Plant Technology, Process Plant Technology, and Welding. Other Fees. Shop Coat Fee of $35 per semester for Automotive Technology. Workforce Safety and Insurance Fee of $7.50 per semester for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Nursing, and Surgical Technology. Re-registration fee. This $50 fee may be assessed to students whose registration has been canceled and the student chooses to re-register.
