Surgical Nurses

Bismarck State College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The College was initially accredited in 1966.

The Clinical Laboratory Technician Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

The Phlebotomy Technician Program is approved by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences.

The Surgical Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

The Automotive Technology Program is certified in all eight instructional areas by the National Automotive Technology Education Foundation, a board of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

The Automotive Collision Technology Program is certified in all five instructional areas by the National Automotive Technology Education Foundation, a board of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.

The Carpentry Program has met industry standards for craft training by having achieved accreditation through the National Center for Construction Education and Research as an Accredited Training and Education Facility. The accreditation is endorsed by the North Dakota Department of Career and Technical Education and the North Dakota Associated General Contractors.

The EMT-Paramedic Programs at St. Alexius Medical Center and F-M Ambulance Service are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
