Transcript requests must be submitted in writing
and include the student's signature. According to
federal law, telephone and email requests cannot be
honored nor can requests from others on behalf of the
student. Requests for transcript services made by
students who are in debt to the college or who are
default on a federal student loan will not be honored
until the indebtedness is repaid or satisfactory loan
repayment arrangements are made.
The transcript only includes work completed at
BSC. Requests for transcripts of work completed
elsewhere must be made directly with the respective
institution.
The following information must be included in
your transcript request:
- Student's Name (Current and Former Name, if applicable)
- Current Address
- Social Security Number (Optional)
- Date of Birth
- Date of last enrollment at BSC (Approx)
- Name and Address for mailing of transcript
- Student Signature
- Date
Transcripts normally take one week to process
after receipt of the written request. However, requests
made at or near the start or end of a term may require
additional processing time. Special requests for
emergency situations can be handled by contacting the
Student Records Office.
Transcripts sent by fax machines are considered
unofficial records. Students enrolled in courses starting
Fall 2004, can also print an unofficial transcript
anytime, via the BSC website, with 24/7/365 access to
CampusConnection. |
