Wonderful World of Marketing

This session focuses on retail marketing - setting measurable objectives, conducting market research, and developing products and services that correspond to genuine needs. Demand is created through advertising, and finally marketing through a network of outlets at prices that make it possible to achieve the sales objectives, the demand it met.
   LoAnn has been the President and owner of LoAnn's Marketing Inc., in Dickinson, North Dakota, since February 1996. Her firm specializes in design, market research, media relations, promotional materials and employee training. She's worked with clients in government in addition to the healthcare, utility, retail and finance industries.
    LoAnn is activity involved in her community and her firm is a member of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater North Dakota Association, International Association of Business Communicators and North Dakota Professional Communicators.
    LoAnn was named one of the Five Outstanding Young North Dakotans in 1998 by the North Dakota Jaycees. LoAnn's honors include the Sam Walton Award, National Excellence Award from the American Bankers Association, Roughrider Country Appreciation Award, Who's Who Among National Businessmen and Women, and America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals. She was also chosen to produce a mini series for the Discovery Channel.
