Spring 2008 enrollment at BSC reached 3,531 students, setting a spring enrollment record and topping last spring’s number by nearly 3 percent. The previous record spring enrollment occurred in 2004, when 3,443 students were enrolled. BSC’s fall enrollment was also a record at 3,591 students.

BSC President Larry C. Skogen said that faculty and staff work hard to connect with students, and encourage them to come to BSC.

“Our enrollment growth is a recognition of our programs and the great employees here,” Dr. Skogen said. “In spite of many employment opportunities in our area, the fact that we deliver top-quality programs is helping to bring students to BSC. Students realize that education can lead to higher-wage careers.”
