The new mace, made of Badlands cedar, was designed by Michelle Lindblom, associate professor of art and chair of the Arts and Communication Department.
It was crafted through a community endeavor led by the Dakota Woodturners and several BSC alumni.
Among its features are three brass rings with dates significant to BSC's history.
