When should I apply for admission?

We encourage students to apply for admission early. Apply Online at CampusConnection. Review the BSC catalog to meet application deadlines. Completing your admissions file early ensures that you will be accepted in a timely manner and will be able to register for courses.

If you are looking at limited enrollment vocational programs, some fill as early as a year before the start date. Additional items are required for limited enrollment programs. View All Program Requirements.

Once I apply for admission, when will I be notified if I'm accepted?

Before a student can register for classes, their admissions file must be complete. A completed file contains an admissions application, ACT/SAT or COMPASS assessment scores, and immunization records if you were born after 1/1/57. A $35.00 application fee is due when the application is submitted. Students can check the status of their application through Campus Connection, where "holds," and "to do" lists are updated in real time. When a student's application is complete, they will be invited to register for classes. For detailed instructions on how to apply, go to Admissions & Enrollment Services and see the "What do I need to submit" matrix.
