The mission of BSC's Disability Services office is to support the college in providing equal access to programs and services for students with disabilities and to assist students with disabilities, who register with the office, by providing reasonable accommodations that maintain the quality and integrity of the college's academic standards.

Services are provided by DS or coordinated through referral to appropriate on-campus services or community and state agencies.

Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact state Vocational Rehabilitation officials and/or other county, state, or federal agencies whose missions include the provision of services to students/individuals with disabilities. These agencies can provide a wide variety of services including funding for special equipment and diagnostic examinations.
